Churches I have been a member of

My Spiritial life is very important to me and my wife Julie. On Mon 6 May 1963 my father showed me in scripture just what it means to believe in and have faith in God. And I learned that it can only be through His Son Jesus Christ. It was on this day that I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior and was therefore assured by Gods Word that I will spend eternity with him. During the following year I submitted to scriptual baptism and made a public confession. Over the years following I have found many different ways to serve God and have held several different positions in the numerous churches I have held membership in. It was in 2002 that the Open Door Baptist Church recognized Gods' call on my life to preach the gospel and they ordained me into the gospel ministry of Jesus Christ.

As a child my parents faithfully took me to church weekly.  It was there I became very involved in Sunday School, our youth Group, the AWANA program, and I attended camp each year at BAYOUCA  in Smithville Flats, NY. It was here that I have one of my fondest memories where I was crowned "King" for being the camper of the week and my "Queen" was  Emily Anderson. Those childhood memories have such a wonderful place in the lives of adults and that time in my life has greatly influenced my Christian walk to this day.

In the many places that I have lived over the years, largely as a result of my service in the Army, I have been careful to maintian my faith and always sought appropriate membership in a Bible believing church as outlined in scripture.

I am currently available to serve as Pastor, Interim Pastor, Evangelist, perform marriage Ceremonies, or any other church speaking engagements. You may contact me: Bob Teachout
